As part of its Home Truths programme, IMPOWER Consulting will release the results of the first dedicated Scottish GP survey on social care relationships on Thursday 20th June at the ADSW conference.
True integration means a transformed relationship between citizens and the state. There are three pillars of this integration:
- Big system integration
- Professional behaviour
- Patient and user experience
The first of these is taking considerable focus and effort. There is a real danger that not enough attention is paid to the second and third. Successful integration will require a balance of all three.
The Home Truths programme shows the value of a deeper understanding of professional behaviour and patient/user experience through focusing in on one set of relationships – GPs – their influence on older peoples care pathways and their relationship with social care.
You can download the Home Truths white paper here.
David Welsh & Jeremy Cooper will be discussing these findings at the ADSW conference 1.45pm on Thursday 20th June in the Loggia Room.
If you would like to discuss this or the Scotland Home Truths project with either David or Jeremy please call 02070178030 or email them on dwelsh@impower.co.uk or jcooper@impower.co.uk.
